Brian Sallee



Brian Sallee is the President of BBS Narcotics Enforcement Training. BBS Narcotics Enforcement Training provides training for law enforcement and Expert Witnesses for both civil and criminal cases.
Brian was a police officer for over 26 years and retired from the Albuquerque Police Department. Brian was with the Albuquerque Police Department for almost 23 years before retiring in November of 2006. Brian was also with the New Mexico University State Police Department for over 3 years. In March of 2007, Brian went back to work for the Albuquerque Police Department as a part-time sworn detective. He is assigned to the Meth Program.
During his career, Brian spent over 17 years working in Narcotics. Brian worked many facets of Narcotics Investigations, such as undercover, surveillance, search warrants, handling informants, case agent of reversal operations and buy/bust operations and clandestine labs. Brian is a certified clan lab investigator and site safety officer. Brian also worked uniform patrol and general investigations.
Brian has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Police Science. The bachelor's degree is from New Mexico State University.
Brian is co-author of the book Narcotics Investigations: Working and Surviving. Brian is also one of the co-authors of the book The Handbook of Methamphetamines. This book is scheduled to be published in March 2007.
Brian has been qualified as an expert witness in numerous different courts. Brian has testified as an expert witness in Bernalillo County Metro Court, New Mexico State District Court (in different jurisdictions) and United States Federal Court in New Mexico. Brian has testified in both civil and criminal court cases. Brian has also been used as a consultant in numerous criminal cases and civil law suits.
