Gangs in the 21st Century

This class is designed to talk about how the gangs use social media to communicate and recruit. It also discusses current trends and looks at the social aspects of gangs.
Along with social media we will look at how the media affects our kids and how it promotes the gang lifestyle.

Gangs

This class is a beginner class designed to look at the national trends of gangs. It will assist with how to identify gangs and gang members. We will look at laws on the books both federal and local to assist officers with combating the gang problem in their communities.
This class not only focuses on gang identification but will look at the social, ideology, psychology, and history of gangs in America.
